OMB's Super Circular - The Auditor's Perspective (AA-OMBSCAP) (1516-160)

Discussion of the new rules issued by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) regarding the awarding and accounting of grants to government and non-profit organizations. Responsibilities of the entities which receive the funds and the applicable compliance requirements. Addressing OMB’s new rules for procurement, cost allocation, time and effort reporting, sub recipient monitoring and internal control. Discussion of compliance requirements with the greatest risk. Testing requirements. Auditor’s responsibilities.


Objectives:

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to comply with the audit requirements stated in the OMB’s Super Circular.
